Love the crew at Erickson Marine - especially Levi! Definitely worth the 1,200 mile trip in the middle of winter to get the great deal on our "new" boat.

I had a previous boat mechanic quote me $500 repair on a shifter cable for a older I/O motor. When I asked around I was referred to Erickson's and gave them a try. All I told them was the issue and the previous recommendation. With not having extensive boat knowledge they could have told me anything and sold me extras I did not need. However, they simply had to make adjustments on the the shifter for one hour of work. - "Your shifter cable is old but works fine, why spend the money replacing it" - They even took the time to show me exactly what was wrong on my motor (bent shifter interrupter switch - I least I think it is called that) Saved me hundreds of dollars and runs perfect. It pays to have real qualified mechanics do work on your boat in my opinion, especially since I wasted $85 having the previous mechanic give me his adjustment and recommendations from another boat shop that is not professional. The biggest thing is the mechanic they have specializes in I/O motors or Outboard motors rather than one guy working on all types. There is only so much knowledge one person can have about multiple various motors and components. They patched me up and and even rushed it so I could have time to test it out before my week long fishing trip up North Works PERFECT !!!

We purchased our Cruiser's this past year from Erickson Marine and have been given the red carpet treatment on every aspect of our purchase, We worked with Eric on the purchase of the boat who was extremely accomodating. He gave us a very extensive sea trial and was able to answer all of our questions. We had some warranty work done in the first month and Erickson Marine had mechanics to our marina in Red Wing within hours of our calls. My great experience was with the service department. Specifically, Niecy Brockman, who was curtious and always returned my calls promptly during a windshield rework job. My surprise was that she personally inspected the completed work with me to insure it was to my satisfaction.
